CINEMA AND TV DIRECTOR AND SCREENWRITER
Bringing to life a story that is born in my mind and shaping it through to its final form —writing it and then directing it— is, for me, an almost handcrafted process, made of gears and heartbeats. Adjusting performances, calibrating every word, shaping the image, choosing the shots, controlling the colour, focus, movement, the set design… working piece by piece, down to the last screw of the narrative. This is the way I know how to daydream with my eyes open, the place where I feel at home and where I become myself.
And what a pleasure it is to see afterwards that this mechanism not only works, but connects: that the audience is entertained, but also thinks, travels, is moved, laughs, cries… that they feel, in the end. That is the greatest reward possible.
All of this is what Screenwriting and Film and Television Directing mean to me: an art and a craft, where creativity blends with discipline, respect for the process, and a kind of sanity shot through with flashes of madness. For all these reasons, I work with passion, with precision, and without fear of getting my hands dirty.
Always ready to set the machine in motion again. So, when do we begin?
